About this course
This course is designed for candidates preparing for the FRCS (Tr & Orth) exam and trainees in their earlier years of training who wish to gain hand and wrist surgery knowledge and viva experience. The course is completely exam-focused, delivering the exact buzzwords and key concepts needed to excel in the FRCS examination.
The course runs over two days with a structured format: mornings deliver a comprehensive lecture programme covering the core components of hand and wrist surgery topics for the FRCS (Tr & Orth) exam. Afternoons provide mock viva stations allowing participants to refine and test their hand and wrist surgery knowledge, practise exam technique, and clarify issues with experienced specialist faculty.
This event is convened by Mr Rishi Dhir, Consultant Upper Limb Surgeon at Princess Alexandra Hospital, who brings a long-standing interest in teaching and expertise in FRCS strategies. He has built a strong reputation for developing teaching across numerous prestigious institutions and courses, and has extensive experience as faculty on MRCS and FRCS-level courses at leading surgical training centres.
