About this course
DermSelect offers specialist interview coaching and preparation for UK doctors applying to Dermatology ST3 training. The course is built around the structure and scoring criteria of the national selection process, with a focus on helping candidates perform consistently and confidently across all three interview stations.
Preparation covers clinical reasoning scenarios, portfolio and academic station technique, and communication and professional values. Candidates are taught structured frameworks for each domain rather than scripted answers, so performance holds up under pressure.

The app provides self-guided preparation from any device, with timed clinical scenarios, ethical dilemma practice, portfolio question banks, and AI-driven feedback on answer structure. Content is kept up to date with the current ST3 format.
Candidates who have completed DermSelect coaching have gone on to secure National Training Numbers on their first application.
