About this course
The MRCS Part A Survival Course is a two-day virtual revision course designed to help doctors pass Part A of the MRCS examination. Originally delivered live on Saturday and Sunday 13–14 July (9 am–3 pm UTC+1), this course is now available as a recording.
Developed by the Academy of Surgical Education, an organisation dedicated to removing barriers to surgical training by offering high-quality education at affordable prices, the course is delivered by doctors with recent hands-on experience of successfully passing both parts of the MRCS examination. The faculty shares knowledge, tips, and tricks on exam preparation and revision strategy whilst balancing a busy working life.
The course covers high-yield theoretical knowledge essential for MRCS Part A success. Teaching is interactive, incorporating a workbook and live delegate participation using Mentimeter polls to aid engagement and learning. Learners receive practical exam-preparation guidance throughout.
