About this course
The MSRA (Multi-Specialty Recruitment Assessment) is now a fundamental assessment tool for everyone applying to specialty training. This online course, created by the highest-scoring MSRA candidates of 2022/23, provides comprehensive resources to help you succeed in the MSRA and secure your first-choice job.
The course is structured around three core pillars: technique, content, and practice. The MSRA is as much about exam technique as it is about content knowledge. The course helps you develop the specific techniques needed to perform well within the exam format, rather than relying on content revision alone. Once you have developed foundational techniques and revised the required content, practice is essential — there is no substitute for the hard work of working through practice questions and scenarios.
What's included:
• The Format of the MSRA: test blueprint and exam information guide
• Clinical Problem Solving (CPS) preparation with video tutorials
• Professional Dilemmas (PD) preparation covering core competencies and key rules
• GMC Guidelines for MSRA including Good Medical Practice, Confidentiality, Decision Making and Consent, and Prescribing guidance
• Practice questions: PD and CPS examples, SJT (Situational Judgement Test) practice papers with answers
• Interactive, high-yield course content with model scenarios and tips from the highest-scoring candidates
The course is delivered by Keegan Curlewis, a leading MSRA candidate, and emphasizes practical techniques alongside evidence-based revision materials. This resource is designed for foundation doctors and trainees applying to specialty training positions across all medical specialties.

After successfully navigating through the MSRA in the 2022/23 intake, I wanted to share the tools to my success with as many prospective candidates as possible. With so much importance on the MSRA, it really is an assessment that should be given the respect it deserves. Most resources focus on the content but the technique and understanding of the exam is the key to performing well. To build on our online resources, we have also set up a number of courses which are high yield and interactive.
