MRCEM Primary Exam Preparation Course

Bromley Emergency Courses offers MRCEM Primary exam preparation delivered both in-person and via live-streamed Zoom. The course is designed to help candidates focus their revision and practice sitting full MRCEM Primary papers under exam-like conditions, with extensive question reviews, topical discussions, and focused feedback.

Candidates receive two practice papers in advance to complete before attending. During the course, two additional papers are worked through in real-time using interactive quiz software, followed by immediate discussion and clarification. The course helps learners understand how the college designs questions and how to distinguish between answer options that may appear only subtly different.

All live discussions are recorded and made available for viewing until the nearest exam date after the course, allowing candidates to review complex topics again before sitting the exam. Both online and in-person attendees can interact live with faculty and other candidates.

The course covers the RCEM Basic Sciences curriculum including anatomy (with emphasis on upper limb trauma), physiology (endocrine and gastrointestinal), pharmacology (anaesthetic drugs, QT-interval drugs, interactions), microbiology, statistics, and pathology. Special focus is given to areas commonly tested in the MRCEM Primary exam and topics that are traditionally difficult to understand.
