About this course
Bespoke one-to-one mentoring and private tuition programme designed to help doctors pass the FFICM (Fellowship of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine) examination. Led by Dr Vasileios Zochios, Course Director of the Midlands FFICM Prep Course, and his team, these sessions are tailored for candidates at all stages — whether taking the exam for the first time or retaking after previous attempts.
The mentoring programme is arranged at mutually agreed dates and times to suit your schedule. Each session consists of a minimum of 90 minutes of intensive one-to-one tuition. Your tutor will present you with a selection of authentic FFICM examination questions, analyse your technique across both the SOE (Structured Oral Examination) and OSCE stations, and provide detailed feedback to refine your approach.
The focus is twofold: to build on your existing strengths and reinforce your confidence, and to identify and address specific weaknesses that may be holding you back. The aim is to give you the best possible chance of passing the FFICM examination.
