This half-day afternoon course focuses on the safe and effective use of transvaginal ultrasound, ideal for clinicians looking to develop confidence in performing internal pelvic scans. Building on the basic skills from transabdominal (TA) scanning sessions or previous experience, this course helps participants understand when and how to use TV scanning, including its advantages in gynaecological and early pregnancy assessment.
Bromley Emergency Courses is a highly-regarded provider of ultrasound training with 21 years of teaching emergency medicine and point-of-care ultrasound. Over 23,000 clinicians have taken their courses, with an average Google review score of 4.9 out of 5.
The course is taught through a combination of pre-course preparation videos, short lectures on technique and safety, and hands-on transvaginal scanning practice on simulators and manikins. Participants will develop practical competence in performing internal scans under expert supervision.
