About this course
A 4-day hands-on crash course in foundational diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound of the extremity joints, blending intensive in-person training with 6 months of professional eLearning access.
The course covers sonoanatomy, practical demonstrations, and sonopathology across all extremity joints (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle). You will spend hands-on time scanning under expert guidance, learning the SonoSkills standardized protocols, and gaining confidence in identifying common pathologies. The program is split across 4 days in 2 parts: Thursday and Friday focus on the upper extremity (shoulder, elbow, wrist); participants have the weekend free to explore Amsterdam; Monday and Tuesday cover the lower extremity (hip, knee, ankle). Each day runs 9:00–17:30 with breaks and lunch. The course operates at a 3:1 participant-to-ultrasound-system ratio, ensuring adequate hands-on experience.
Designed for MSK healthcare professionals—radiologists, rheumatologists, sports physicians, GPs, physiotherapists, and all primary/secondary care professionals—who want to master diagnostic MSK ultrasound and improve their clinical capabilities.
What's included:
