About this course
RadCast's Radiology Application & Interview Course is a comprehensive, fully updated preparation programme for the 2025/26 clinical radiology training application. Designed specifically for UK doctors applying to radiology specialist training, it covers every stage from portfolio submission through to interview success.
The course comprises 60+ focused modules across 19+ hours of expert-led video teaching. It is structured around the actual 2025/26 radiology interview framework and assessment criteria, ensuring you study only high-yield content. New for 2025/26, the course includes dedicated sections on the new Imaging Prioritisation Station, high-scoring model answers for specialty skills questions, and comprehensive ethical and scenario-based answers.
The course is explicitly designed for doctors with unpredictable rotas. All content is fully optimised for mobile and tablet access, allowing you to study in short bursts—on trains, between cases, or during quieter moments on nights. The modular structure means you can maintain consistent preparation without requiring long, uninterrupted study blocks.
Content is organised into nine core sections:
• Introduction to the course and clinical radiology training pathways
• Overview of the 2025/26 application process, portfolio scoring and interview station changes
• Imaging Prioritisation Station (Station B) with fundamentals, alert codes and five scenario-based modules
• Topical issues in clinical radiology covering AI integration, skills mix, errors, teleradiology, iRefer and structured reporting
• Career progression including training pathways, RISR portfolios and relevant exams
• Specialty skills covering a radiologist's typical day, MDT work, radiation regulations and PACS/RIS
• Model answers for specialty-specific questions (work schedules, innovations, training structure, career rationale)
• Model answers for ethics and example questions, including workplace conflicts, difficult patients and professional conduct scenarios
• Curated RadCast podcasts on topical areas such as AI, teleradiology and interventional radiology
The course provides structured frameworks, scoring insight and model answers designed to help you develop clear, confident responses that hold up under pressure. You also gain exclusive invite-only access to a private community of radiology applicants, where insights, resources and interview experiences are shared in real time—eliminating isolation during your preparation.
Access is provided for 6 months from enrolment, covering the full application window from portfolio submission through to your final interview. The course is non-refundable; however, separately bookable 1-to-1 mock interviews are fully refunded if you do not secure an interview shortlist. Trainees can claim the full course fee against their deanery study budget under HEE educational development guidance.
