About this course
First Critical Hours is an annual comprehensive update for emergency physicians and acute medicine specialists, covering the clinical management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department. The course is run by Infomed Ltd, an established UK provider of CPD-accredited medical education founded in 2004.
The course format consists of interactive lectures followed by case scenarios, discussion, and Q&A sessions. It is delivered as a 3-day programme (though learners can purchase access to individual days) covering practical focus on the more difficult aspects of Emergency, Acute, and General Medicine presentations in the first critical hours. The revised programme reflects recent impact and consequences from COVID-19, feedback from past delegates, and surveys of emergency/acute medicine practitioners and experts.
