About this course
King's Advanced MSK MRI Course 2026 is an on-demand, self-paced course delivered by Infomed Ltd in partnership with King's College Hospital. The course is designed for consultant and senior trainee radiologists, sports medicine physicians, advanced practice physiotherapists and orthopaedic surgeons who interpret MSK MRI in clinical practice. It features a unique interactive format combining short theory lectures with hands-on interpretation and reporting sessions using a fully featured cloud-based DICOM viewer with real patient imaging cases.
The course covers comprehensive musculoskeletal MRI across all major joints: shoulder, ankle/foot, elbow, wrist/hand, knee, and hip. Each module includes brief instructional lectures followed by extensive case-based learning. Participants work directly with actual DICOM images via PostDICOM, a sophisticated imaging platform that allows full manipulation of cases alongside expert faculty feedback. This blended approach ensures learners can develop reporting confidence through practice rather than passive watching.
Key features include 120 days of on-demand access with unlimited playback, full control of a curated database of DICOM cases, Q&A sessions with faculty, and detailed guidance on practical reporting. The course aims to develop advanced MSK MRI interpretation skills, expose learners to both routine and complex abnormalities, and provide tips for avoiding common diagnostic pitfalls. Faculty are consultant musculoskeletal radiologists with significant experience from leading NHS hospitals including King's College Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare, and Barts Health NHS Trust.
