About this course
This Focused Transoesophageal Echocardiography (fTOE) course is designed for intensivists and anaesthetists looking to develop essential TOE skills for clinical decision-making and haemodynamic assessment. The course is developed in line with the ICS and Association of Anaesthetists Focused TOE Curriculum and is FUSIC Approved.
The course is delivered over two days with a hybrid format: Day 1 is online with comprehensive eLearning, tailored lectures, MCQs to reinforce learning, and dedicated Q&A time with faculty. Day 2 is a full-day hands-on practical session at Cambridge Belfry Hotel, featuring simulator-based training with high-fidelity simulators, small group teaching with a low trainer-to-delegate ratio, and interactive case-based discussions.
