This 1-day intensive course is aimed at healthcare professionals who are complete novices in critical care echo and ultrasound or those wanting to refresh their knowledge. Brought to you by g&h, experts in critical care echo and ultrasound training, the course covers the fundamentals of heart and lung ultrasound with a focus on clinical application.
The curriculum includes:
• Introduction to FUSIC Heart and Lung syllabus and knobology
• Sonoanatomy and basic views
• Common pathologies
• Hands-on scanning workshop featuring the latest Bodyworks 'EVE' simulator, human models, and GE Venue PoCUS machines
• Course quiz and discussion
• FUSIC or FAMUS accreditation information and guidance
You will be taught by an expert faculty comprising experienced consultant and registrar-level intensivists and cardiothoracic specialists, all with advanced echo credentials (BSE, EACVI, and FUSIC/FAMUS accreditation). The course is approved for FUSIC/FAMUS accreditation and awards 5 CPD points (RCOA-accredited).
