About this course
This comprehensive live webinar covers MRI brain interpretation from signal characteristics to complex pathology. You'll master the correlation between MRI sequences and pathological processes, developing a systematic approach that will transform your diagnostic confidence.
Delivered over 7 hours of live teaching in April 2026, this course is ideal for stroke doctors, neurologists, acute medics, and radiologists looking to develop or refresh their MRI brain interpretation skills. The course is suitable for both trainees and consultants.
The curriculum covers functional anatomy of the brain, MRI sequences and signal characteristics, ischaemic and haemorrhagic stroke with vascular territory mapping, brain tumours (primary and metastatic), inflammatory disorders and demyelination, and CNS infections. Teaching is delivered by Dr. Hisham Jaber, a neuroradiologist at Imaging Academy of Wales.
- Master signal characteristics and sequence correlation for different pathologies
- Identify key vascular territories and stroke patterns
- Recognise brain tumour imaging features and differentials
- Understand inflammatory and infectious disease patterns on MRI
- Apply a systematic approach to MRI brain reporting
The course includes live Q&A with faculty and case-based learning throughout.
