About this course
This practical ultrasound-guided peripheral vascular access course is designed for healthcare professionals who need to manage difficult IV access in acute clinical settings. Delivered by Kung Medics, the course combines foundational and advanced techniques to build confidence in ultrasound-guided cannulation across a range of specialties.
The course is structured around live supervised practice with expert NHS faculty. Participants receive extensive hands-on training in a clinical setting, with direct guidance to ensure both competence and safety when applying these skills in real-world practice. The focus is on maximizing supervised skill time to improve success rates with challenging vascular access.
The course is flexible and accommodates busy clinical schedules, with options for group bookings and bespoke delivery arrangements. Participants can book a take-home vascular access phantom for continued independent practice after the course (optional, £20 — normally £45).
